Coriolis a project hosted by Ifremer, a member of our consortium.

It is concerned with the development of observation networks of in-situ measurement devices to allow continuous monitoring of ocean properties such as salinity and temperature. The in-situ network consists of buoys, profiling floats, observation platforms, research vessels and voluntary observation ships. The data service provides quality controlled information in real and delayed time and is available on the internet and GTS within 24 hours.
